Update from Ed to May 19 Letter
05/21/08
In a recent letter
to all of you on Monday of this week, I responded to some of the
misleading and inaccurate statements in last week’s DALRC Board
publication. Minutes after posting that response, we received a copy
of yet another of their letters, this one even more inflammatory than
the last. The manner in which the DALRC Board chooses to express its
views will not lead to constructive, professional interaction or
benefit Delta people. As a result, I have concluded that it would be
both unproductive and inappropriate for me to meet with this group
under these circumstances. Rob Kight, Vice President – Compensation,
Benefits and Services, will continue with the meeting to which we
committed weeks ago.
