Retiree And Survivor Open Enrollment Postponed by 2 Weeks

Domestic and Canadian retirees and survivors Open Enrollment event has been postponed by 2 weeks. The new dates are Wednesday November 3, through 11:59 pm ET on Wednesday November 24.

NOTE: Generally, retirees and survivors who are age 65 and older are not eligible for Delta Healthcare coverage.

Resources regarding benefits for domestic retirees and survivors are available NOW on the 2011 Open Enrollment Information site on DeltaNet.

Refer to the online site for details specific to your individual benefit options. If you have questions about your benefit options or the enrollment process, contact the Delta Employee Service Center (ESC) at 1-800 MY DELTA (1-800-693-3582), Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time, except certain holidays.

Resources regarding benefits for Canadian retirees and survivors will be available on Benefits Direct starting November 3.

Nov 3 – Nov 24 is your only opportunity to elect 2011 benefit coverage


Important information for domestic retirees and survivors concerning healthcare reform:

If however, you have children up to age 26, who are not eligible for another employer’s healthcare plan and, you did not enroll them online, you may call the ESC at the number above between Nov 24 and Dec 3, to add the eligible child.

NOTE: Healthcare reform does not impact your child’s eligibility for travel privileges.

Domestic and Canadian active and inactive employees Open Enrollment has not changed and remains as scheduled for October 20, 2010 through 11:59 pm ET on November 18.
