Check out this no-cost will prep service

Our new basic life insurance provider, MetLife, offers complimentary will preparation services through its affiliate, Hyatt Legal Plans. Delta employees and retirees who are eligible for basic life insurance coverage can use the free service.

“Research shows that about half of all Americans do not have a legal will in place,” said Rob Kight, v.p.-Compensation, Benefits & Services, in a recent home mailing to employee and retirees.

“Creating a will is the first important step in planning your estate,” Rob said. “Without this, your assets may be distributed according to state law and not in accordance with your wishes.”

The free service allows you to meet with an attorney in your community to prepare or update a will at no charge. The attorney will explain any additional charges, such as filing fees or court costs not covered by this service.
