Delta’s system traffic for March 2004 increased 9.5% from March 2003 on a capacity increase of 4.7%. DL’s system load factor was 75.5% in March 2004, up 3.2 points from the same period last year. Domestic traffic in March 2004 increased 7.9% year over year while capacity increased 5.6%. Domestic load factor in March 2004 was 74.2%, up 1.6 points from the same period one year ago. International traffic in March 2004 increased 16% year over year on a 1.4% increase in capacity. International load factor was 81.1%, up 10.3 points from March 2003. During March 2004, Delta operated its schedule at a 99.4% completion rate, compared to 99.2% in March 2003. Delta boarded 9,424,803 passengers during the month of March, an increase of 3.2% from March 2003.
