New Site Provides Wide Array of Health Resource Info 08/25/04

WebMD, the online healthcare resource, today is unveiling an updated Web site for Delta users designed to provide more health-related information and to enable them to be more proactive about their own health. Formerly BENEFITcompanion, WebMD Health Manager features a host of new online features and benefits for users, including e-mail notifications of breaking health news, new customized fitness programs, and online storage capability for personal health data.

A special feature at the site is a health risk assessment, called HealthQuotient, which allows WebMD to send targeted health news to individual users based on the information provided. All personally identifiable health information that users enter into WebMD Health Manager is kept private and secure. The information resides only on WebMD’s computer server network, and Delta has no access to it.

As BENEFITcompanion did in the past, the site will continue to offer detailed descriptions of Delta’s healthcare benefits plans during the open enrollment period this fall. Existing BENEFITcompanion user names and passwords are the same for WebMD Health Manager, so you don't have to enroll again. Click here to visit the site.
